Designer Hella Jongerius (1963) has become known for the special way she fuses industry and craft, high and low tech, tradition and the contemporary.
After graduating Eindhoven Design Academy in 1993 she started her own design company, Jongeriuslab, through which she produces her own projects and projects for clients such as Maharam (New York), Royal Tichelaar Makkum (The Netherlands), Vitra (Basel) and IKEA (Sweden).
Her work has been shown at museums and galleries such as the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum (New York), MoMA (New York), the Design Museum (London), Galerie KREO (Paris) and Moss gallery (New York).

The Dumbbel Sports Drink, is a great example for 'thinking out of a box' :
It is an environmental design due to a briliant thinking of the industrial designer Jin Le she has come up with a dual use for plastic bottle by simply changing the bottle’s shape: so simple: before you drink it, you use it for working out!

Designer Days in Paris


Tai Ping carpets is a carpet label founded in Hong Kong 50 years ago and known for its innovative fibre combinations and excellent hand-made craftsmanship.
For the designer day's in Paris, the Israeli-Paris based super st-Arik Levy introduced his new interpretation for the known rock collection.
This time , Levy took the 'Rock' to an origami dimensional concept, so the 3D abstract sculpture is become a flat yet organic piece of art and a boutique style carpet.

Cristiano Cora by Avi Oster

Cristiano Cora is a hairdressing salon in New York, designed by architect Avi Oster.
The floor space is 400 square meters. The project was completed in February 2008, with the total cost coming in at $280,000.







i didnt find much info about the designer but asap i will update, so for now a few words about this beautiful design, from the designer:
Our goal was to create a new essence of salon environment that captures the balance between modern architecture and the needs of the hair dressing industry. The fluid movement of the Cristiano salon truly captures the elements of simple modern design while the functionality of the design enables a smoother process of hair dressing

Nucleo: design solutions



Nucleo
design solution is a design studio based in Torino , Italy.
The studio was founded in 1997 by chief designer Piergiorgio Robino :
"I asked myself what would future design be like at the threshold of the 3rd millenium: Nucleo was the answer to that question".
the five designer vision and mission is all about the synonym of research and innovation, and they have some coool design.

Trorrola, a table centrepiece made of corian , inspired by an oldest children's game. Its form is like a movement freezed in a sequence of photographs


PH , divano(2007) Inspired by molecular structures and crystal lattices created when atoms bond to one another, PH is a pentagonal modular made in expanded polyurethane

Jurgen Bey :Bruxelles

A temporary apartment made of slats and a sewing machine, became a test house at the Galerie of Pierre Bergé & associés, Brussels.
"Haute couture "- furniture design by the magic hands of the dutch designer Jurgen Bey, who is known for
all-but-fashionable work, driven by the ambition to analyse things.
At the request of Pierre Bergé & associés the gallery has now been transformed by him into a witness apartment, as if the visitor would enter a show flat
